Recent research of Tuncel Research Group, led by Assoc. Prof. Donus Tuncel, featured on the cover page of Macromelcular Materials and Engineering. Their work outlines the synthesis of cucurbit[7]uril-based conjugated polyrotaxanes while they are co-crystallized with sugar-based matrices such as sucrose and trehalose to obtain highly efficient color-converting solids with remarkably high QYs (>50%) which are suitable for solid-state lighting.
