Dr. Yunus Emre Turkmen, an assistant professor of organic chemistry in our department, has published a commentary on 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, which was awarded to click chemistry works of Barry Sharpless, Bertozzi, and Mandel this year. His commentary provides a brief overview on what “click” chemistry is by presenting the fundamentals of this field, and how this field led to a Nobel Prize in Chemistry. His work is published in Sarkaç, the popular science platform of the Science Academy, Turkey.
