A symposium in honor of Prof. Şefik Süzer on the occasion of his 70th birthday was held on April 20th, 2018. Friends and colleagues from Bilkent University, Koç University, METU, Hacettepe University, Sabancı University, and Ankara University attended the event. A series of talks was given by Prof. Suzer’s students, colleagues, and friends to share memories and to show his impact to scientific community. In addition to these talks, Prof. Suzer’s friends, Prof. Yavuz Ataman, Prof. Ersin Yurtsever, Prof. İskender Yılgör, and Prof. Müfit Akınç, highlighted their memories with him during the informal talks in the dinner.
