The Chemistry Department graduation project presentations and award ceremony were held with the opening speech by the head of the Chemistry Department, Prof. Emrah Özensoy. After promising presentations of our 4th-year students, Üstünışık Prize for Undergraduate Chemistry Research was awarded to İsmail Yaşar Kökçüler for his “excellence in undergraduate chemistry research and exceptional scientific dedication”. In addition, graduate student Ezgi Kutbay at Süzer Research Group and graduate student Umut Mert Karacaoğlu at Türkmen Research Group, were awarded Best Teaching Assistant Award for their “excellence in teaching and exceptional scientific dedication”. We congratulate all award holders and students presented their work.
